OBJECTIVES OF Sony Corporation

Other major business segments include Music and Pictures services, which brought in 7.82 and 9.31 billion U.S. dollars respectively in the same fiscal year. Human objectives :

As of the company’s 2019 fiscal year, the Sony Group employed over 114 thousand people around the world from different backgrounds .Sony’s employment numbers pale in comparison to many of the world’s largest employers . According to a famous employer rating website Glassdoor Sony has recieved a rating of 4.1 from its present and ex employees which states that sony is completing its human objectives properly.

Now moving forward to environmental factor of business , the business environment can be classified to two factors . They are external and internal factors . Internal factors of the business includes organizational goals of the business such as cultures ,resources , structure and owner where as the external factors of business includes political, Economic and Socio-cultural and technological factor in shorter form (PEST).Among the external factors in my perspective technological factor of Sony is very challenging than other factors. Being one of the leading company in technologies particularly being the the largest video game console company, the second largest video game publisher, the second largest record company Sony constantly needs to innovate and bring new technologies to the market in order to sustain its existence in the market . The Best example why Sony's major challenge is technology is the Vaio laptop series. Few years before Sony's Vaio was considered as one of the most demanding laptops but now it is barely seen on the laptop market it is because Sony couldn't compete with other brands more technologically advanced laptops.
